COACHING PHILOSOPHY

As a coach, I make sure that goaltenders have fun, and focus on long term development, not just results of the day. Every goalie is different not only in how they play but how they think and learn, so when working with different goalies I take a personalized approach to their development. Goalies need to have a safe space to fail in order to problem solve and evolve as a goaltender. There is not an elite goalie on the planet that can be told what to do in every situation, instead they need to learn how to problem solve at an early age and how to apply what you learn in goalie sessions to a multitude of situations.
