Born in Dallas, Jeff played hockey with many of the local organizations, captaining the majority of the seasons.  He also was a member of Plano West Senior High School's hockey team from his Freshman to Senior years, winning two State Championships along the way (one of which with Kevin Smith as coach!). He then went on to play Junior hockey before attending college where he went and played hockey for Arizona State University and then the University of Oklahoma, where he graduated with a degree focusing on Health and Exercise Science. Upon graduating from OU, Jeff worked as a Physical Therapy Technician working with people ranging from elite athletes to spine surgery patients. He also has his Personal Training Certificate, and enjoys training his players and other athletes both during and in the off-season. Jeff currently resides in Dallas where he is a commercial real estate broker. 

Jeff holds high standards for player development, accountability, teamwork, respect, and work ethic. Thought by himself as a teacher of the game as much as a coach, his practices are intense, detail-oriented, and competitive. There is nothing more satisfying for Jeff than to see games develop in the manner which his team has practiced, as well as seeing his players move on to play at higher levels.
