Texas Warriors players win the High School National Championship

Texas Warriors would like to congratulate two of their own, Andrew Cimino and Gabriel Henchey with our 16U-AA (Midget Minor) team, on their National Championship this past weekend with their Frisco Varsity Gold team.

The Frisco Varsity Gold team shutout Missoula (Montana), 5-0, in the final game to go undefeated in six games in their quest to win the Division II championship.

The Frisco Varsity Gold team becomes the first Texas High School team to win the USA Hockey National Championship, the 11th Texas based team to win a National title, and the first since 2012 when the Dallas Oilers won the USA Hockey Youth Tier II 18U 3A title.
