Scott McKay joins the Warriors

The Texas Warriors are pleased to announce the addition of Scott McKay to the 2019-2020 coaching staff.  Scott will be the Co-Head Coach for the 10U-A team and will be teaching skills at practices for both 10U - A & AA. He brings a wealth of coaching and playing experience to the Warriors organization. Please join me in welcoming Scott to the Warriors family.

Coaching Experience

Coached in the DFW area for the past five years
Prior to moving to the Dallas he coached in San Diego for four years
While playing Major Junior Hockey he coached power skating for four years

Coaching Philosophy

Skating – speed combined with power and puck protection Always moving – with and without the puck
Team commitment – no one is above the team
Ensure that the kids (and the coaches) have fun

Playing Experience:

Four years of Major Junior Hockey with the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League
Finished as the 16th leading scorer in club history
